Digital Matter - Yabby Edge

Meet the Yabby Edge, our ultra-robust and compact battery-powered asset tracker that takes location solutions to a new level. With an impressive battery life of over 10 years, the Yabby Edge offers cloud-based tracking for numerous applications. You can choose from two different versions: a LoRaWAN© and a 4G NB-IoT/LTE CAT-M variant.

Features:

• GNSS and Wi-Fi AP MAC address detection (the LoRaWAN® version also provides additional geolocation) for effective management of indoor and outdoor assets.
• Batteries can last up to 10+ years on a single deployment, with just 2 x AAA (LoRaWAN© version) and 3 x AAA (4G version) user-replaceable batteries.
• The cloud-based location solution significantly saves energy by storing location data in the cloud instead of on the device itself.
• The tracker tracks assets when they are in motion and switches to sleep mode when they are stationary to save energy.

• The weatherproof and ultra-rugged housing features IP68 and IK06 ratings, making it resistant to the elements and impacts.

The standard configuration for optimal battery life spanning several years looks as follows:

• Performing a check message every 12 hours.
• Logging motion every 3 minutes (sending twice per hour).

The configuration can be customized according to preference.
