The latest addition to our range is the Barra series from Digital Matter. This series includes the Barra Edge 4G, Barra GPS 4G, Barra Core 4G, and the new Barra Recovery. As a successor to the successful Yabby series, the Barra has been developed to provide an affordable tracker for a wider audience, without compromising on reliability and battery life.
The Barra Edge 4G collects various signals, such as GNSS and Wi-Fi, and sends them to the Digital Matter location server. There, a highly accurate location is calculated, both indoors and outdoors. Since the location calculation largely takes place in the cloud, energy is saved, and the battery can last up to 10 years on just 2 AA batteries with two messages per day.
The Barra GPS 4G determines its location directly via GPS. This variant is primarily intended for outdoor applications, making it a solid and simple GPS tracker.
The Barra Core 4G is specifically designed for indoor applications. This tracker only scans Wi-Fi access points and does not have GPS functionality. As a result, it is a very energy-efficient and affordable solution for locations where GPS works less effectively.
New to the series is the Barra Recovery. This tracker is specially designed for asset recovery and theft detection. In normal situations, the device remains in an ultra-low power standby mode, allowing for a battery life of over 10 years. Once an asset goes missing, the tracker can be remotely activated in Rapid Recovery Mode. In this mode, the device uses GNSS, Wi-Fi scanning, and cell tower data to determine a location. Additionally, the tracker features a 433 MHz RF beacon, which allows for precise tracking of the last meters with a directional receiver.

- Logging motion every 15 minutes (sending twice per hour)
